new baby

i have done a couple of new baby cards , i've had quite a lot of orders this week so i have been really busy,. i have to try to work faster because each card i make takes on average three hours to make- that makes my hourly rate pretty poor !

more fold outs from way back !

these were only the 2nd and 3rd fold out cards i did. the first one i made for my daughter Patsy but i forgot to photograph it and by the time everybody had examined it , it looked a bit tatty !

these two were made when i only had the baby bug. the letters had to be cut by hand as they were too big for the bug . thank heavens for the expression !

I have been working on this one all day and i've had an eye infection for 2 days so every thing is a bit blurry to me !

this is for a new baby boy , but they wanted it quite masculine and not too cute -so i had to use that bear again ! the train set was also on the christmas solutions cart

fold out cards directions update !

i have done a little diagram which shows what i mean by concertina . basically the card should stand in a zig-zag so it needs to fold in one direction then the other. i have drawn each seperate card panel in a different colour. Just glue together where the panels touch .

3d flower card

i have been asked to make lots of mothers day cards this year,-they are'nt all for my mum !

this one is made using a bigz die -daisy#3 i finished it off with some flat back pearls which i coloured in with permanent markers

i have a new favourite cut !- it is the teddy from the christmas solutions cart. I had forgotten he was on there until Jeannie phillips posted a card she had made using it on the cricut message board so thanks Jeannie ! x x x

NEW BABY

This one has been made in advance as the person who ordered it will be out of the country when the new baby arrives later this year. The parents dont want to know what the sex of the baby is so i had to keep it neutral. i used New Arrival for the crib, christmas solutions for the bear and a sizzlits strip die for the words

one for auntie

i found this gorgeous butterfly paper by K&CO it is so delicate looking-Its one of those you dont want to use but i cant leave it in the box forever can i ?

Birthday cake

i made this one for a colleague at work who like myself is constantly battling the bulge !, cake usually defeats him ! the cake was made from a template in Papercraft Essentials magazine

sizzlits owl

i just love this little owl - he is just soooo cute ! i cut him a few times and embossed with cuttlebug folders. he is cut from coredinations "black magic "card, i rubbed over the embossing with an emery board to reveal the coloured core.
