Sport

Now there's a word not often used in our house , nobody likes it !

But sport is the theme for this weeks card challenge over at I LOVE PROMARKERS so I really had to hunt for a sporty themed image,I coloured this one in sepia tones using all of the warm greys and Almond with a touch  of moss for the grass .I wanted to keep it clean and simple so didn't go for many embellishments
.I'm so out of practice with my colouring and lots of my pens need replacing. - I had used them a fair bit before they got packed  and they looked so pretty lined up in the racks ,I could n't bear to throw them away.   I think it will have to be done though ,maybe some new ones will just mysteriously appear in my online basket ;)

It's been sooooooooo long . . . .

Wow it's been so long since I last posted on my blog , I have been out of cardmaking for almost a year, major lifestyle upheavals and a change of circumstances led to us moving house and me losing my craft room.Much of my stuff has been in storage and only recently have I started  to have crafty fun again . It is so good top be back ,I feel more like my old self again.
Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things fairly quickly .I have always followed a couple of blogs belonging to my crafty friends and  one of them has directed me to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog,The images are really cute but I didn't have one to use so off I went (on my laptop) to the tiddly inks page and grabbed myself a couple of bargains as they had a sale on !

It is my nephew's birthday in a few days so he is getting this card, I hope he likes it despite it being his 28th Birthday LOL

The theme for the challenge is "Anything goes " so this should be fine, The image is called My Super boy , It's a digi stamp and I flipped the image as i wanted him to fly the other way -I hope this is ok . It is coloured with promarkers and the clouds and skyline are sizzix dies
It is also only my second attempt at a pop up box card. The photograph is not so great , I shall just have to unpack my real camera :)
