Happy Birthday Daniel ♥

This one is for my rockstar son Daniel -Happy Birthday dude !
It is also for our Anything goes challenge at I ♥ promarkers this week .I chose this image because it reminded me of Daniel , He is in a band and plays guitar , he even looks remarkably like this character ,even down to the enlarged hole pierced in his ear ! He has the same dark eyebrows  and holey jeans - in fact the only thing different is his hair ,Daniel has his short .
I used craft artist to cut out the image digitally and then overlay it onto a musical background that I created ,specially  Then I added a digital shadow before colouring with my Pms - I was really pleased with the effect

My first stretchy card

I saw some stretchy cards being demonstrated on C and C and thought how good the style looked even though the designs used did nt really appeal so i got my thinking cap on an worked out how they were made and this is what I came up with .

I chose this image specifically to tie it in with our I ♥ promarkers challenge this week  which is -"things with wings "
I cut the words and the stars on my cricut with SCAL2 .

willow sketchie Challenge

It is absolutely scorching here today , and being  a bit of a wuss I can't take the heat ! needless to say I have found something to do - I made some cards !

Black and white plus one challenge

This week at i ♥ promarkers we are asking to see your black and white plus one colour creations.The challenge is sponsored by sassy designs by susies die cut dreams.

I figured that it was about time i made a start on my christmas cards so here is the first for this year !
I used an LOTV stamp , the snow globe is cut with a circle die and i chopped the bottom off , I added distress ink whilst the card was still in the die to give the globe a more rounded feel , the base of it is just a strip of card with the corners rounded off .
I used a die and some rather hideous holographic paper to add the swirls  to my snowflake ,proving that even the most awful bits of scrap can look quite effective - ( if you keep it minimal )  ;0)

sparkly /bling

well I'm glad today is over , that was one rotten day's work ! I should have scheduled this post last night but totally forgot!
This is my DT card for i ♥ promarkers challenge this week- we want to see a bit of sparkle or bling .

I used  an LOTV image as i love using them ,I added glitter, mirri paper and a crystal flower bouquet  that i made specially .I cut the card shape on my cricut

Anything goes

I adored this stamp as soon as I saw it and could n't wait to use it .The perfect opportunity to show it off came with this week's challenge at I ♥ promarkers  because ANYTHING GOES - last time we did this theme we had over 240 entries  so I need to knuckle down and keep up with them this time !

I made my card shape from an A3 piece of card and cut the scallop card shape from Wildcard  cart on my cricut .I cut it at 8" cos I wanted it to be huge !I have finished it off with a sentiment circle from our sponsor this week -SENTIMENTS FOR YOU ,these are brilliant because you can size them to fit inside your nestabilities perfectly

Boss's birthday

It is my manager's birthday this week and as always I have the job of making the card from all of us lot at work , I decided to make a big one since there are a few of us to sign  it
As she loves her horses I decided to include it in the theme,but that was as far as got with it .I searched the internet for free downloadable images, i needed one that would convert easily to a cut file in SCAL  .
The finished horse then sat on my desk for a few days waiting for some inspiration to help complete the look .I was watching create and craft and saw Nikky Hall demonstrating aquamarkers with her latest CD and there i was totally hooked , out came the credit card and i ordered the aquamarkers.I already have some ,but these were new exclusive colours so I just had to have them !
Not satisfied with that ,I then went to polkadoodles and ordered the CD .My cd arrived this morning so I went to polkadoodles challenge blog and decided to use their sketch to finish my card and enter it into their challenge

A sketch challenge

  This  week at I ♥ promarkers we are challenging you to use our sketch in your project , we are being sponsored by Kenny K and you could win 5  digi images from their online store.I have used one of Kenny k's images for my card.I also used my cricut machine and Rock princess cartridge to cut my girls rock sentiment  and stars.I actually ran out of the pink mirror card that i used for the matt layers ,so when it came to the shadow layers for my sentiment and for the small stars i just cut them from silver mirror card and coloured them with my magenta promarker for a perfect match.

Happy Easter challenge

This week' s I♥ promarkers  challenge is an Easter theme, it is once again sponsored by Joanna Sheen .
I don't send Easter cards as a rule so I used this Mo Manning image with a sentiment that I found  and thought  that I could use it to send to a friend of mine that I need to have a good old chat with !
I made the card shape with xxl dies from Go Kreate in my favourite gadget -my Grand Caliber

A paper piecing challenge

Firstly i want to say a very big thank you to all of you who joined in with our birthday blog hop last week , I had loads of comments  on my card  and even got a few new followers to my blog too,so hello to all of you ,I  hope you will all be following me on my crafty  travels through blogland .

I have used a new image from Lilly of the valley on my favourite card style - with an embossing folder and a computer generated image-of course it was coloured with my promarkers  .

 OH OH NO ! This is how the title should really read !
I cant believe how fast Christmas is approaching - I still have so many cards to make as well as a couple of wedding cards and a scrapbook as a gift - of course i will  get it all done -I'm ever the optimist !

 I download the Santa image last Christmas and I cant remember where from so if anyone can help ,I would be grateful as I think he is a gorgeous Santa and there is an artist out there who deserves the credit for him .

CUPCAKE -CHALLENGE

I have been unwell this week ,really feeling Blurgh and in a lot of pain with my arm - it goes dead and heavy and really hurts but for no reason , it means i cant craft much at the moment and i have to limit my time on the pc so as not to aggravate it thank fully I made this before i was told to give the crafts a miss.I have painkillers but to be honest they are nt making much difference.I hope it does nt last too long- i m getting withdrawals

WHITE ON WHITE

I used the snowmen which were part of the christmas assortment , i used my cuttlebug to emboss the background panels , the trees are a sizzix die  and the snowflake a concoction of different die cuts all on top of each other .

I♥PROMARKERS Transport challenge

Morning all - I nearly forgot about posting this one , i thought I'd scheduled it but had n't .
