Phew

I have just about managed to catch up on some card orders,I can't show them all  as some have n't been given out yet and I don't want to spoil any surprises
I still have a few tricky ones to do but I don't feel quite so pressured  now so the creative juices are flowing a bit more freely ,Here are a few  of this week's creations -

This one was a bit tricky , I had to watch a few episodes just to get which characters were which !I ended up drawing them and cutting them out freehand -two year olds can be very judgemental so I hope they are ok !

This is cut from my brand new favourite cricut cartridge -Paper Lace -the Names were cut using SCAL

I used SCAL for the bee ,and "Freshly picked" for the plant in pot  for this one -I just love that little bee !

Oooh and I nearly forgot about this one ,for my friend's daughter who is an obsessed Harrry Potter fan , I forgot to take a picture of this one before it went and thankfully she tagged me in it on her facebook page !

 I had n't made one of these for ages and had forgotten just how tough they are on the poor fingers to cut out -I did do one on the cricut with SCAL and the extra long mats but it was just too flimsy so i reverted to my own way -No pain no gain I suppose !

Lastly another new baby one -I love doing these ,Once again this is all cricut -(except for the punched lace ) I really love using this machine -it is so much fun .I hope you enjoyed looking at my  creations for this week -now i'm off for a quick game of scrabble or six :)

My last DT cards for a while

It is with great sadness that I have had to leave both of the DT's that I was on.I have been struggling with my commitments  for a little while as life has taken a tough turn for me . It means I can't spend as much time crafting as I would like .I don't want to let my faithful customers down  so those cards have to come before my design team ones.
I will still be blogging my projects but I wont have the pressure of having to work to a strict timetable -so if the MOJO goes AWOL it wont matter so much .

Glitter and Glitz

This week's challenge at I♥ promarkers  calls for glitter and glitz so it is perfect for your Christmas cards .
I was lucky enough to get the new range of Humphreys corner stamps  so I have used one of those.
As I am not a fan of loose glitter -it is far to messy ! ,I used this glittery wrapping paper that Ibought a couple of years ago , the shop was selling it off cheap as they had lots of returns because  it was too glittery for the sticky tape ! everybody's pressies were coming unwrapped !
I even dug the old peel offs out of the box at the back of the cupboard to hang my baubles from, they had nt seen the light of day for quite a while !

Hello , long time no postie !

It seems like ages since I last posted , I have missed a couple of challenges that i design for -willow sketchie and i ♥ promarkers .Shortly after my mojo disappeared I managed to catch a tummy bug which left me really poorly all of last week , I have recovered now and have managed to catch up with  some of my blogging and cardmaking duties .
I did manage to see some of my cards on tv  last week , but mainly just fleeting glimpses of them ,I did manage to get a mention by Deano tho' so i 'm well happy !

Autumnal colours

I really love the beautiful colours that come with the arrival of autumn , so I really enjoyed making this card for our I ♥ promarkers challenge  this week .The challenge is sponsored by Letraset so you could win some promarkers to add to your stash !

 I chose this Mo Manning image  to complement my falling leaves .The leaves are punched from white paper ,coloured with pms and then dusted with perfect pearls ,in rusty tones .

Spooky Time !

As Halloween is approaching we have decided to go for a Spooky  theme for this weeks I ♥ promarkers challenge .
I don't usually send cards for Halloween so  used this image to make a card for a Birthday instead .It is kind of spooky ! it is  from Digishack

I cut the word Boo from chipboard and triple embossed to give the enamelled look , I have added foiling to the cobwebs on the candlestick but they dont show too well in the photograph . I came up with the sentiment myself after  struggling for ages to find something suitable and failing .His eyes are also glazed for extra dimension

A distressing Challenge !

 Hello everybody , just a quick post from me again as there don't seem to be enough hours in the day at the moment !
Our challenge this week at I♥ promarkers is to see some distressing on your project /card.

I have made this easel card using this gorgeous deer digi stamp from Digi doodle shop , I have distressed using just inks  I still find it difficult to screw up or tear my papers !

This week's challenge at i ♥ promarkers is to include a number on your project ,since I need to make a start on those dreaded Christmas ones I thought I would use a calendar and use a whole month of numbers .I had this idea of a poor turkey  dreading the run up to Christmas but could nt find a stamp or digi image suitable,then I used Google and searched for a clipart image of a turkey and found this one -the expression on his face was just perfect for what I had in mind -whoever designed him,Thank you he is perfect

willow sketchie - this is the one i posted by mistake !

I'm late again with my posting - my internet has been a bit hit and miss again over the last few days and I have been at work all day today  so this has been my first chance to get it online . Some of the more eagle eyed among my followers would have already seen this one as i put it up by mistake last week and did nt notice for several hours !

Anyway here is my DT card for Willow Sketchie , I did all the doodled backgrounds myself to match the image !

Happy Birthday Daniel ♥

This one is for my rockstar son Daniel -Happy Birthday dude !
It is also for our Anything goes challenge at I ♥ promarkers this week .I chose this image because it reminded me of Daniel , He is in a band and plays guitar , he even looks remarkably like this character ,even down to the enlarged hole pierced in his ear ! He has the same dark eyebrows  and holey jeans - in fact the only thing different is his hair ,Daniel has his short .
I used craft artist to cut out the image digitally and then overlay it onto a musical background that I created ,specially  Then I added a digital shadow before colouring with my Pms - I was really pleased with the effect

ILPM;s sketch challenge

My first stretchy card

I saw some stretchy cards being demonstrated on C and C and thought how good the style looked even though the designs used did nt really appeal so i got my thinking cap on an worked out how they were made and this is what I came up with .

I chose this image specifically to tie it in with our I ♥ promarkers challenge this week  which is -"things with wings "
I cut the words and the stars on my cricut with SCAL2 .

I have gone for a vintagey theme to this one , it was nt intentional however, I made a bit of a c**k up when i stuck the backing paper to my card blank and it ended up upside down so i had to do a bit of disguising

Thankfully the weather  has changed a bit and it is not quite so stifling today , we had a massive thunder storm yesterday and the air has cleared ,today is sunny and bright with a lovely cool breeze -so much better for me !

Black and white plus one challenge

This week at i ♥ promarkers we are asking to see your black and white plus one colour creations.The challenge is sponsored by sassy designs by susies die cut dreams.

I figured that it was about time i made a start on my christmas cards so here is the first for this year !
I used an LOTV stamp , the snow globe is cut with a circle die and i chopped the bottom off , I added distress ink whilst the card was still in the die to give the globe a more rounded feel , the base of it is just a strip of card with the corners rounded off .
I used a die and some rather hideous holographic paper to add the swirls  to my snowflake ,proving that even the most awful bits of scrap can look quite effective - ( if you keep it minimal )  ;0)

Here is my DT card-I used this cute Mo Manning image and teamed it with some papers that were a gift in a craft mag a while back.I decided that I would use my cricut to cut the frame as I don't use it half as much as I should do -I still buy too many dies unnecessarily as there are many different ones on my cartridges that would do .I think I just like collecting crafty goodies ;0
