Passion for promarkers challenge

This weeks challenge over at Passion for Promarkers is to use a sketch , there are no specific colours to use so any will do .I have used another of Mo's images because i just love 'em ! I have added extra sparkle to this one again and i think i have even managed to capture it in the photo for a change !

Skating - for a challenge or two

Another of these fabulous images from Mo's digital pencil .These are my current faves for colouring which i find so relaxing , reminding me of childhood when i always had a pack of felt tip pens in my stocking on christmas morning !
I have got all the new colours from promarkers to look forward to this year . Hubby bought them for me a while ago but i have nt been able to get round him yet and get him to let me have them early ,I must be losing my touch !
Any way i did this one for a challenge blog that i stumbled upon called a spoonful of sugar
whilst checking my dashboard this morning ,i found another challenge blog called
crafty creations which wants something in shades of blue so i am going to enter it there too

I love this one !

I absolutely love this picture , it just conjures up childhood memories of playing in the snow ,- not that i ever had a sled, but i'm sure it would have been great fun !. This one is nt an order or a challenge or anything special , it was just for fun .x

mo's digital pencil 1 st challenge

I wondered last month what had happened to the i love promarkers 3 rd challenge . I had saved the page in my favourites and i kept checking back to see when the new one had been posted ,but all i saw was the page showing last months winner , I remembered something about not being able to post on face book so assumed it was something to do with this . Yesterday i happened to see on my dashboard that the 4th challenge had been posted . I was mortified ! how had i missed the 3rd one ? Ha ! instead of saving the home page i had saved the post !! what a numpty !

So not much chance of winning that one - so i have made my card for the 4 th one early so that i dont forget. I have had trouble photographing it too . The embellishments were too thick for it to scan properly so there is a shadow cast over the pic .
I have also used the card in the very first challenge over at mo's digital pencil where you have to use a mo's image and the colour purple .

Oh baubles !

I just realised that i did nt post my sneaky peak for the brand new collection of christmas images over at lily-boos
they are gorgeous little baubles ,a collection of 6 for the amazing price of just £1.99 !
my favourite is the snowman , but anyone who knows me will tell you i just love snowmen !

lily -boo too's 2 nd challenge

The first lily -boo challenge has come to an end and the winner is to be announced shortly ( when we have come to a final decision ) That was not an easy thing to do , the entries were fantastic .
Of course this means that the next challenge is underway , there is a sketch to follow and a freebie to use if you dont have a lily boo image yet . ( i say yet because you will have one soon if you are anything like me and want them all ! )
I used the fairy and the sketch , but you only need to use the sketch and any other lily boo image .

i ve been so busy with card orders lately ,i have been neglecting challenges, but i had to join in with this one as my favourite colour combo at the moment is cool aqua and apricot . The image is by mo's digital pencil

Jack's birthday again

I cant believe its been a year since i made a card for Jack , i just got a subscription notification from the cricut MB , somebody had commented ont the card i made for him last year i had forgotten all about it this is the one i made for him for this year

ITS BEEN A WHILE ...

Since i made any of these fold out cards and this week i had to make two ! the first was a bit tricky , for a man ! the second one was much easier it was for a nine year old girl .
My mojo had been missing all week and i really needed it for these !
Thankfully it came back this afternoon after i threatened myself with having to do housework if it did nt !
These cards are very difficult to photograph due to their size and they dont fit in the scanner either - so i am sorry for the dodgy camera work.Thank goodness i dont live in a bungalow - i need the stairs to take this pictures on !

scrapcard in a tin

I made one of these a while ago for my daughter's 18 th and a friend of mine saw it and asked if i would do one for her daughter, Portia's 21 st.
I made it and then forgot to get a picture of it .Ihad to wait for her birthday and ask her to take a pic and send it to me. I am rather pleased with it ,and thankfully so was Portia

Passion for promarkers polka dot challenge

The challenge over on Passion for Promarkers is to use any colours and Polkadots .
I have had this image for a few weeks now , i cant remember where i got it from , it was a freebie. If anyone knows would they please tell me so that i can give the credit where it is due. I just love the expression on his face (it actually reminds me of my dear hubby but dont tell him i said so ! )

Quilted wedding

i used the FQB" with this ring " collection from nitwits for this one . i have layered and padded the chapel and i gave it a quilted feel by using my tracing wheel to make stitch marks. i cut the charms with my sizzix dies from thick tin foil (recycled again from my milk tins ).
I added the date with tiny peel off stickers

a NEW BABY GIRL

My boss asked me to make a new baby girl card to give to her friend , then i went and forgot all about it . Yesterday at work she said "have you done the baby Chloe card ?" aaaah !!
Any way Chloe is now 3 weeks old ! .
she said go ahead and make it anyway so here it is , i dont think i'd better charge her for it !
Of all the people it could have happened to it had to be the boss did nt it !

willow sketchie challenge ,

Another challenge card, this time for willow sketchie

The challenge is to use this little fairy and a sketch
Her name is precious and i just love her !
The background papers are by Kay miller and i added some rub on faux stitches - she is of course coloured with promarkers .(i cant wait for the new colours to come , my DH has bought them all for me for Christmas )
I'll just have to get round him so that i can have them early ! I usually get my own way , thats why he called me a craftybugger in the first place !

Glittery girly Promarkers challenge

I had been asked by a good friend to make a card for her daughter 's 40 th birthday , she wanted something glittery and girly and surprisingly this was the theme for this week's Passion for promarkers challenge

I used this image from Charmed crafts as i think she is just beautiful .The background paper is from DCWV - all dressed up collection .I also used a glitter pen on top of the promarkers to make her dress and feathers shimmer. I i coloured and thentriple embossed chipboard numbers and added a final coat of glitter embossing powder , they looked as if they were made of enamel when they were finished . Her Name was cut from SCAL - i am just loving this now even if i am still on the basics !

BOO !

Remember that sneaky peak ? well here it is in full , the new Halloween collection has just been released over at LILY BOOS BOUTIQUE .
Pop on over there and take a look , there are lots of fabulous designs and they are all very reasonably priced, i have made a card and a calendar page for next year, I am going to do a page for each month ,showcasing one of lily boos designs on each one , I used Scal to cut out the bats and the wording on the calendar all images are coloured withmy fabby promarkers

The very first challenge is to make a new home card, following a recipe from one of our DT members

Here is what i came up with. I used the cute house image from lily boo's boutique
I run the background through a cuttlebug folder and coloured the image with promarkers , i used faux brads for the flower centres and a gem set brad for holding the ribbons . I finished it with a simple rub on at the bottom

promarker/ willow sketchie challenge

I am in a christmassy mood , probably due to the christmas crafting day on QVC , Anyway heres my card for the willow sketchie challenge and also for the promarkers challenge
The willow sketchie one uses a sketch which i turned on it's side The little owl image is one of my favourites from Sharon. The heart charms are cut from thick foil and coloured with promarkers .
The promarkers challenge was to use at least two shades of purple. i used lilac ,lavender, amethyst and maroon

I JUST TRIED SCAL2

ok , so i know there's not much on here , but it was my first ever attempt with scal !
i thought i'd keep it simple and just go for a font which i then welded - It is much easier with this than with design studio . The hardest part was deciding which font to use as i have hundreds to cloose from ! The image is from pollycraft and the backing papers are Kay miller from the miami pink set

Mr and Mrs

WHAT A WEEK! it has absolutely flown past , probably because i am off work.I feel as if i have been running around all week but dont have anything to show for it .
Not had much time for crafting although i did have a couple of commissions to do this week.One was of a special scrapbook /birthday card which is so top secret i'm not allowed to show on my blog incase the recipient happens to see it .
The other was for a wedding card and as i have ntI have nt made one in ages , i was rather pleased when i was asked to make one.
I used my trusty bug for this one with base camp and wedding solutions carts and DS .
I have just got SCAL2 so when i have sussed out how to use it i will post some creations .

I was thrilled this morning to see that i had been a finalist in the promarkers challenge .
I did 'nt win unfortunately (boo-hoo ), but at least i tried !
Never one to give up , i thought i'd get stuck in to challenge number 2 - this one also has a sketch to follow you just have to colour the image using promarkers .
I had been asked by a friend to make a card for her Nana's 90 th birthday and did nt have a clue what to do on it . I found this image at Mo's digital pencil and it reminded me of my dear nan.

NEW HOME

i am just enjoying the thought of two whole weeks off work - im only on day one and the time is flying by already !
I did manage to get another card done , this time i got my bug out , i've been neglecting it a bit lately in favour of digistamps and promarkers so i thought id dust it off and make use of a couple of cartridges , This one used AE for the flowers , HEA for the birds and SYI for the bug and the birdhouse . I welded 2 houses together in DS to make the card shape. I added the doodling with galaxy markers and added a rub on greeting through the hole

LITTLE PEOPLE - THANK YOU CARD

This is a thank you card for someone who apparently cooks a mean fry -up as well as providing excellent bed and board and then gives his guests arms full of plants to go home with .This was a commission for an ex colleague of mine who still loves to buy my cards -so thanks Vicki x
the flowers are from lily -boo , and the background is one from charmed cards and crafts. ,I drew the eggs and bacon myself ! I think that the "thanks " came from wildcard but i'm not totally sure

LILY BOO'S NEW BOY COLLECTION AND POLKADOODLE CHALLENGE

I had already made this card as part of the design team to promote the new boys collection on lily -boos boutique. When i checked the polkadoodle challenge site i saw that my card fitted the sketch rather well so this will also be my challenge entry for this week .
I used accent essentials cart for the circles and wildcart for the words-in-circle

The big reveal !

Charmed crafts challenge

This is for a challenge which has the most amazing prize.- A SET OF 72 COPICS PENS !!! - HOW FABULOUS IS THAT ???
I have used a charmed craft image too ,so this means that i can have two chances at winning .
I have coloured it with promarkers - i have 'nt tried copics pens yet - if i win i'll let you know which i like best !

This one is for my little sister for her 40 th birthday next week , i have used the sketch from the passion for promarkers challenge for this one. The fairy is from funky Fairies (SHE IS SOOOO CUTE !)

Gardening

Yet another little people card , but this one has a little extra to it - The garden elements are all from lily boo's boutique ! It's called the summer garden collection #25 I love how they filled my little garden up so quickly !
The background was created in "paint" just using the spray can feature . As usual i used the sizix doll die to cut the head and hands and then i cut the clothes by hand .

Good news - i have been selected to be a part of the design team again for Lily-Boo's boutique .I am really happy to have been selected again as Sam's images are fantastic and are really easy to work with.She is a very talented girly !
There are a few of us regulars but there are also some brand new talents joining us , so i 'd like to say a big hello to Jem,Ann, Katie and Emma.

SIX IN ONE DAY !!!

Well the housework was well and truly ignored yesterday ! I managed to get six cards made ,the first was the monkey one i posted earlier and all of the others were made using those really cute little owls that i have fallen in love with from fairy dust bag
I love them all and cant decide which one i like best- could be the one with the cake for some unknown reason i am strangely drawn to it !
anyway must get on - i have to go to my slimming class soon to see how much i've gained,-whoops i mean lost this week !!!
i can only show five of them as one of them has been posted out to one of my friends on the UKcrafters thread
