Black and white plus one challenge

This week at i ♥ promarkers we are asking to see your black and white plus one colour creations.The challenge is sponsored by sassy designs by susies die cut dreams.

I figured that it was about time i made a start on my christmas cards so here is the first for this year !
I used an LOTV stamp , the snow globe is cut with a circle die and i chopped the bottom off , I added distress ink whilst the card was still in the die to give the globe a more rounded feel , the base of it is just a strip of card with the corners rounded off .
I used a die and some rather hideous holographic paper to add the swirls  to my snowflake ,proving that even the most awful bits of scrap can look quite effective - ( if you keep it minimal )  ;0)

A sketch to challenge you

 Hello everybody ,This week over on I ♥ ProMarkers our challenge is for you to follow a sketch.  We're being sponsored by The Secret Crafter for this one and they are offering a  prize of 3 digi images of your choice.

Here is my DT card-I used this cute Mo Manning image and teamed it with some papers that were a gift in a craft mag a while back.I decided that I would use my cricut to cut the frame as I don't use it half as much as I should do -I still buy too many dies unnecessarily as there are many different ones on my cartridges that would do .I think I just like collecting crafty goodies ;0

sparkly /bling

well I'm glad today is over , that was one rotten day's work ! I should have scheduled this post last night but totally forgot!
This is my DT card for i ♥ promarkers challenge this week- we want to see a bit of sparkle or bling .

I used  an LOTV image as i love using them ,I added glitter, mirri paper and a crystal flower bouquet  that i made specially .I cut the card shape on my cricut

Sorry this post is late this week , I ve had internet troubles , first it was the phone line and then when i get that sorted ,the curse of the blogger hit me and it would nt let me onto the blog page to post or leave comments on your lovely creations.

An Animal challenge

I love the attitude on this little guy , I  so when I knew that the challenge at i ♥ promarkers would call for animals I knew straight away which one to go for . The challenge is sponsored by Crafty Emma and she is offering a fab prize of crafty goodies .

I used an embossing folder for my background ,i thought it gave a kind of wire fencing look and i made the bones border from my cricut and design studio .The doggy with attitude is by Mo Manning

I ♥ promarkers pink and brown challenge

This week's challenge at  I ♥ promarkers  uses one of my favourite colour combo's-Pink and brown,my favourites because they remind me of neopolitan ice cream

Mine is a very simple card this time ,I did a bit of freehand doodling to match in with the image,coloured and cut out the image  and added a little tag from LOTV .The background paper is from Polkadoodles 'double sprinkle of Kraft cd .

Song Title challenge

My shoulder is a little better this week and not half as painful as it was . It is still restricting my arm movement a bit but i did manage to get my card done for this week 's challenge at  I ♥ promarkers

A painful post

Just a quick post from me a s I'm suffering with my neck/shoulder /arm  pain again - I can barely lift my arm and it hurts to type so i'm keeping it brief

We want to see what you can do without using any design papers -here's mine, my sentiment looks wonky ,but it's not honest ! It is the shadow ,I took the picture in the early evening and the light was nt great !

Anything goes

I adored this stamp as soon as I saw it and could n't wait to use it .The perfect opportunity to show it off came with this week's challenge at I ♥ promarkers  because ANYTHING GOES - last time we did this theme we had over 240 entries  so I need to knuckle down and keep up with them this time !

I made my card shape from an A3 piece of card and cut the scallop card shape from Wildcard  cart on my cricut .I cut it at 8" cos I wanted it to be huge !I have finished it off with a sentiment circle from our sponsor this week -SENTIMENTS FOR YOU ,these are brilliant because you can size them to fit inside your nestabilities perfectly

Boss's birthday

It is my manager's birthday this week and as always I have the job of making the card from all of us lot at work , I decided to make a big one since there are a few of us to sign  it
As she loves her horses I decided to include it in the theme,but that was as far as got with it .I searched the internet for free downloadable images, i needed one that would convert easily to a cut file in SCAL  .
The finished horse then sat on my desk for a few days waiting for some inspiration to help complete the look .I was watching create and craft and saw Nikky Hall demonstrating aquamarkers with her latest CD and there i was totally hooked , out came the credit card and i ordered the aquamarkers.I already have some ,but these were new exclusive colours so I just had to have them !
Not satisfied with that ,I then went to polkadoodles and ordered the CD .My cd arrived this morning so I went to polkadoodles challenge blog and decided to use their sketch to finish my card and enter it into their challenge

A sketch challenge

  This  week at I ♥ promarkers we are challenging you to use our sketch in your project , we are being sponsored by Kenny K and you could win 5  digi images from their online store.I have used one of Kenny k's images for my card.I also used my cricut machine and Rock princess cartridge to cut my girls rock sentiment  and stars.I actually ran out of the pink mirror card that i used for the matt layers ,so when it came to the shadow layers for my sentiment and for the small stars i just cut them from silver mirror card and coloured them with my magenta promarker for a perfect match.

Patsy's school projects

I just wanted to show you Patsy's easter projects. They were for the end of term competition at school.She put an awful lot of work into both works of art and was very proud of them both and she went off to school  so hopeful of winning a prize .
 Unfortunately some horrible child in her class thought it would be a good idea to shove Patsy over making her drop it and smash it .Luckily i took pictures last night , she did nt win any prizes but she did have fun making them

I don't send Easter cards as a rule so I used this Mo Manning image with a sentiment that I found  and thought  that I could use it to send to a friend of mine that I need to have a good old chat with !

Emboss it !

This week's challenge at I ♥ Promarkers is to use some kind of embossing on your project.The challenge is sponsored by  Secret crafter .
Now thankfully for me I had got ahead of myself and made this one a couple of weeks ago as I have been ill all week and not been able to lift my head from my pillow let alone make a card !
I made this with a cuttlebug embossing folder -swiss dots and a papermania stamp .The flowers are from a punch and the background shapes are nesties .This was my first attempt at a double easel and i was quite pleased with the result- it did n't fit in any envelope that I had so I made it a nice little box  .

I 've gone Dotty

I meant to post this first thing this morning but of course things never go to plan when I have  work to go to . I got up in plenty of time , made the lunches  and cups of tea ,breakfast for everybody and then got Patsy off to school . Then i realised I was going to be late for work if I did n't get my bum into gear - so this gets left 'til after work and then Blogger decides to be a bugger and wont let me post - grrrr

Men's cards

we all know how difficult it can be to make cards for men, so that is our challenge for you this week at I ♥ promarkers  
This weeks challenge is sponsored by Stampeezee and you could win £10 to spend in their online store
A friend  asked me for something specific for her Dad, she wanted him in his shed with his canaries and flowers in pots .I made the card as 3 dimensional as possible adding quilled plant pots and flowers.I drew the man in the chair and the extras in his shed and of course used promarkers for colouring it all in .
I used Digital Craft Artist for the wood effect and for the poster on the inside of the door .

A baby Challenge

For this week's I ♥ promarkers challenge  we are asking for " Baby" projects .Mine is a Christening card which can be for a boy or girl as I went for a neutral colour scheme .Our sponsor for this challenge is Di's Digis  and you could win 5 digi images .
I made the paper rose ,and the leaves  I cut on the cricut using Scal  and a file from My scrap chick 

A fold out letter card ,a get well, and a 60th birthday

I have been really busy this weekend so  I want to show you some of the items that have occupied my time .

I made a cut file for this one and cut it all  on the cricut ,I am planning on selling these ones for Mother's day , in any colours ,with matching box and gift tag .I am also entering this one into the BUNNYZOE challenge for this month ,they want to see spring flowers.

This next one is one of my "LITTLE PEOPLE " cards , This is for Matt, a guy at work  who has a bad shoulder -luckily for him he has his lovely new bride to look after him and she is a nurse .

The last one for today is a 60 TH Birthday,this was also a cricut /Scal creation

Challenge time again

I can't believe how fast this week is going ,I almost forgot to post this week's challenge card for I ♥ promarkers  .
This week we want you to use Purple and Green  . My image is from a no stamp required cd by MCS .I made all the flowers using punches and dies , The tag is punched too and the elements on it were found lurking in my "bits " box
