LILY BOO'S IS MOVING !!!!!!!!! GRAB SOME FREEBIES

To celebrate our move over on to Cuddly Buddly Kim has been burning the midnight oil to get a great big bunch off boo's uploaded for freebies!!! I♥PROMARKERS challenge #19 teddy bears

 WOAH what a week , i have been without my craft room since sunday so no Pc , printer or pen has passed through my hands other than to relocate it to its new home .
I now have a spanking new craft room after lots of hard work , i emptied the room ,painted it then fitted worktops and shelving and am just in the process of moving it all back in . Th e new room is much smaller than i had before ,but since it has proper workspace now i should be better off (she says hopefully ).
My back is killing me and i have crafting withdrawal symptoms but im sure it will all be worth it .Im just waiting on some more shelving to arrive and then i will be done .I'm having a rest tomorrow and looking after Baby Sam -if i can get up of course !
 Anyway here is my card for this weeks I♥PROMARKERS challenge ,i used a freebie image  from here . i cut the letters with my bug using SCAL and then embossed with swiss dots and inked with gold ink then mounted them on top of the shadow letters

I♥PROMARKERS challenge #18 a sketch

 This week at I♥  promarkers we have a little sketch challenge for you .I have used this gorgeous piggy from lilyboo's boutique, it was in  the first set i bought from there and it has always been one of my favourite of Sam's designs .

I have also entered it into this weeks challenge at Passion for promarkers as they want to see your pink birthday cards

Diva !

This one is  for a friend's god-daughter for her 21 st , the brief was something feminine and i  thought of this  Mo Manning image "diva" immediately . It is a fairly new release and one that I just had to have !
I have added sparkle to her jewellery , her boa and her shoes with a sakura glitter pen but it has nt photographed particularly well.

I♥PROMARKERS challenge 17- a recipe

This week 's challenge at I ♥ is a recipe that we would like you to use on your card.
1 ribbon ,2 papers and 3 buttons

I have made mine into a side step card , it is actually for my friend to give to her tomboyish grand daughter , who actually looks  quite a lot like the little girl in this Mo Manning image

A birthday treat , a new baby and a man card

All of these were orders for workmates They all seem to prefer my cards with die cuts to the ones with coloured images .
 I've taken a fancy to using my cricut this last week or so, but still find it easier to cut files for scal than using my cartridges and the gypsy - probably cos i'm working on a much larger screen and i dont have to strain the old eyeballs so much !

I♥PROMARKERS challenge 16 sketch

 This weeks challenge is sponsored by the wonderful  Digi Doodles, We have a sketch for you to follow too

I chose  body tots 's cowboy  , there is just something about him that i find really appealing .
I used a set of digi papers from nitwits for my background, printing the elements twice and layering on foam pads for dimension.
The hat took me so long to colour as it just would nt go right and then suddenly the colours just seemed to  blend  into place and it was perfect, i am very happy with the way  it turned out .

A few more paper pieced projects

I am really loving making these paper pieced projects at the mo', I think they must be my fad of the week !

Some are from cricut carts , some from templates and some bits my own designs with scal on the cricut .

I am entering this little bird card into the cricut challenge as they want to see a bird or butterfly on your card . I used Pooh and friends for the birds , Stretch your imagination for the house and the leaves were a punch that also embosses .

I♥PROMARKERS challenge 15

Our Challenge for you this week at I♥PROMARKERS is to use handmade flowers.
I made all of the flowers here in my picture from plain copy paper which i coloured first with my PMs. They are  a bit fiddly to make especially the smaller ones , but still fairly easy  .I don't recommend slicing your finger first before you make them as it makes the job a lot harder - and the throbbing is very distracting  ! !

 I am also entering this at mo's  as they also want to see what you can do with flowers ,and this is one of Mo's stunning images

Paper pieced projects

These first two are for the same person so i had to keep them different , i have used the same colours so that they still work well together . The other one is not for anybody in particular ,i just liked it . I added stars with  a holographic foiling sheet and glue pen . I have left a space in the top corner  for a name or greeting later on .

 All of these are made with paper piecing templates from my scrap chick, i love them  they are really easy to use as they are available as svg files so i can cut them on my cricut with SCAL .

Happy birthday polkadoodles

Polkadoodles is celebrating its first birthday this week and Nikky has designed some great backing papers  to give you for free !,

We want to see what you can do with them for this weeks challenge ,but we also want to see dimension and texture on your projects too .

I used the papers to make this card for my  dad and  I used the embellishment sheet to make the rosette.

I cut the letters and shadows with my cricut using SCAL2.

The card itself is like a leather effect and i added some faux stitching and brads for texture .

New York nights

  This one had been on my to do list for absolutely ages, and i finally got round to it ,The skyline was causing me difficulties , I cut it first with a sizzlits strip die buty it was too small so i scanned it into my pc then cut it out with scal 2  and voila ! perfect skyline , the statue was also cut with scal 2, i just googled pictures until i found one that would trace easily .

Polkadoodles summer blossoms

Where has this week gone to ? ,I can't quite believe it is friday already .I have been working one day in arrears all week !
I just about got my project for Polkadoodles done in time ,This week we want to see your creations with a theme of summer blooms
I used lots of blooms from various polkadoodles cds , i had printed them off a while back and can't remember which ones they were from  :)
The little bunny is from Paper boutique , i have decoupaged him  and set him amongst the flowers on a side step card .

I♥PROMARKERS challenge 13

 I have had this beautiful Mo Manning  fairy image in my collection for quite a while and never used her , the perfect opportunity arose in the form of the latest challenge at I♥PROMARKERS. We are asking you to use some form of wings on your card / project . I  wanted to give her wings the look of irridessence so messed around with my promarkers until i was happy with the colours ,I used lime zest first , then blended in a little cool aqua  and blossom.I  highlighted them with a sakura glitter  pen  and waterbrush .I die cut some bubbles and  coloured those in the same way. I cut the flowers on my cricut and inked to blend with the design  they have glittery bubbles in the centres .

Polkadoodles -Alter it challenge

I know , it was a box and now its a....box !
It was a rather fetching detergent tablet box and now it is a home for my cute little fairy flutterfly stamps . I used my favourite polkadoodles cd for the background papers , the fairy flutterflys and flowers made from the newest cd " All around and everywhere "

I'm on the design team at I ♥ ProMarkers :)

 I was totally gobsmacked this week when Karen from I ♥ ProMarkers  contacted me and asked if i would like to join them as a design team member on a full time basis , I did n't have to think long to make up my mind .


I am a bit nervous about it but my 3 weeks as guest designer has obviously helped .

polkadoodles challenge 16

This gorgeous fairy- Gracie , and some of her friends have landed at polkadoodles and i could nt wait to use them.
Our challenge for you this week is to make your project in monochrome, i have gone for orange as i love this background paper which is from sugar birdies cd, it matches perfectly with one of the stamps in the set.Gracie's wings are a separate stamp in the form of a beautiful butterfly which I stamped onto heavyweight acetate and folded to raise Gracie off the frame .
